Hex Map for New Campaign: The Thissel Valley

November 28, 2011

I created the map below for our next campaign using a tool called Hexographer (along with some font work using Photoshop). Hexographer’s a nice tool for a number of reasons: it allows you to create maps quickly, creates a map with an ‘old school’ feel, and creates maps with hexes which means I can track distances over various terrain in a matter of seconds. I still plan on doing a ‘free form’ map but this will do for now. The map has been reduced in size to fit the blog.

I’ll be posting background information on the Thissel Valley later this week.

Cool, that’s what I was hoping for 🙂

One comment, why the hell is there a friggin’ ad for a camera on my blog!? I didn’t think WordPress did that. I wonder if they’ve added that ‘feature’ or I have to pay some sort of fee to block? I’ll have to read up on their policies.
